Disc three of season two of Mad Men. We have one more episode to go, then we'll need to find someone who's been saving episodes of season three, so we can catch up to the current season!
August 16 - August 22:
Disc two of season two of Mad Men. Two more to go, then we will have caught up to season three!
August 9 - August 15:
There was lots of viewing at the Velveteen Lounge last week, all TV. In addition to our standing Thursday night date to watch The Smoking Gun Presents World's Dumbest (this was World's Dumbest Daredevils week), we saw disc one of season two of Mad Men and more of season two of CHiPs, my all-time favorite dumb show.
August 2 - August 8:
For Me and My Gal (1942)
Judy Garland, Gene Kelly
Lots of classic tunes in this World War 1 tale of love, war and vaudeville. Personally, I think Jo (Judy's character) chose the wrong guy, but you knew it was going to end that way, since his selfish character was redeemed.
We also managed to watch four episodes of season two of my beloved CHiPs, which I got from the library and now desperately need to own!
