January 25 - January 31:
Owing to being away this past weekend and being exhausted the rest of the week, we basically watched nothing, unless you count Mary Tyler Moore and The Smoking Gun's World's Dumbest Criminals, one of my new favorite shows.
January 18 - January 24:
The Lounge was paid a visit by Zach this past weekend, who brought some favorites on Super 8 film, which led to another Velveteen Lounge Creepy Theater (click here to see pix)! This week also saw us revisit two old favorites: 1969's Woody Allen classic Take the Money and Run and Legally Blonde, which never fails to improve my mood.
January 11 - January 17:
A busy week with little time for viewing, but we did manage to watch an episode of The Prisoner, to mark the passing of Patrick McGoohan, and another That Girl from my new DVD set.
January 4 - January 10:
Ski Party (1965)
Frankie Avalon, Dwayne Hickman, Deborah Walley, Yvonne Craig
The snow put us in the mood to revisit this winter "classic" from the Frankie and Annette DVD box set. It's a beach party film in the snow, which still features bikinis and briefs, thanks to an indoor pool, and which ends on the beach in any case. James Brown and the Famous Flames show up as the "ski patrol" and sing "I Got You (I Feel Good)."
Also watched this week were Elvis: Aloha from Hawaii (on the King's birthday, natch) and episodes of That Girl, Honey West, Hawaii Five-O and CHiPs.
