Watch this one for the incredible late-'60s eye candy and Sonny & Cher songs and NOT for the story or plot development. I enjoyed it, but have to admit I don't quite understand the title, since most of the film is based around their angst at having to make a crappy movie!
June 21 - June 27:
We never got around to watching Good Times, owing to general busy-ness and a rough week. We did, however, manage to make time for National Lampoon's Vegas Vacation and some episodes of Hawaii Five-O.

Home Movie (2001)
Chris Smith (director)
I loved this documentary about regular folks who live in extraordinary homes, like a tree house in Hawaii or an abandoned missile silo. Their creativity and eccentricity was inspiring and I envied their (for the most part) lack of neighbors and city life.
June 7 - June 15:
The Velveteen Lounge Theater was closed for Hukilau, but we did catch most of Saturday Night Fever on AMC one morning.
May 31 - June 6:
Police Woman, Season One, Episodes 1-4 (1974)
Angie Dickinson, Earl Holliman (Although, to give credit where it's due, Bert Convy played Earl Holliman's character in the prototype episode of Police Story, upon which the series was based.)
Where has this show been all my life?! I just put the DVD on my Amazon wish list, since we only got episodes 1-4 from Netflix. Not only does Angie Dickinson kick serious butt as Sergeant Pepper Anderson, but it's set in Los Angeles about the time my family moved there from Oklahoma, so it's pure nostalgia for me, too. I just watched three episodes in a row!
