I made a chess pie for the first time on Friday and I didn't even get to eat any of it!

The truth is that I made it for Paul to take to a gathering, which I could have attended, but didn't, so it's not like anyone kept me from my own pie. It turned out to be super easy to make. All you do is mix the ingredients (butter, eggs, sugar, cocoa, vanilla and evaporated milk) with an electric mixer, pour into the crust and bake. I did at least lick the scraper after I poured it into the crust, so I at least got to taste the filling. I heard it was delicious!
