I have Mary Ann to thank for this grits recipe--Mary Ann's Gilligan's Island Cookbook to be precise:

I made this recipe a couple of weeks ago when we had guests over and it proved so popular that I made it again Saturday night. It's a good choice when you're super busy, have guests and are generally being pulled in several directions because it's very easy. It's mainly cooked grits, cheese and beaten eggs, although I added copious amounts of garlic and cayenne pepper. I'll be featuring it at summer cookouts this year!
