This week's Velveteen Lounge Happy Hour Special: Chicken Wings!



Perhaps it's all the Travel Channel and Food Network shows we see with hosts who visit BBQ joints and taverns, but I suddenly had a craving for Buffalo wings this week. We have a place here in town that specializes in wings, but I wanted to experiment and see what I could come up with on my own and I was really happy with the results! I combined a lot of pepper sauce with garlic powder, brown sugar and dark corn syrup and Paul declared them tangy and tasty. Best of all, we have more wings AND more sauce, so we can do them again!
