
In case you were wondering, yes, we're working our way through all those boxed Thanksgiving staples from last week, since we've completed filming them as props. However, I did also get a chance to invent a couple of new happy hour appetizers this week.

Those little "sticks" are tofu, which was baked with vinegar, soy sauce and garlic. It gave them a nice flavor and I baked them long enough that they could stand up to a cocktail pick without crumbling. The little "puffs" are Jiffy baking mix, pumpkin, cheese and spices, with salsa available for dipping. Really easy and really tasty--my kind of appetizers!
