It's warm enough to be in the Velvetiki Room, which means it's coconut custard pie season again!



This was a new recipe for me, courtesy of the Dessert Lover's Handbook (1969, put out by Borden to push their Eagle Brand Sweetened Condensed Milk). I loved that it only had a few ingredients and was super easy to make. Like pretty much any custard or custard pie I've ever made, I had to leave it in the oven about twice as long as the recipe called for, but it was worth the wait!
