Friday was a fondue happy hour here at the Velveteen Lounge!



Some foods just lend themselves to cold nights and melted cheese is one of them. This was the inaugural run for this orange fondue pot, since, like many of the pots we've collected over the years, it had pretty obviously never been used. It worked great! All you need is some cheese, wine or liqueur (this fondue featured dry vermouth and applejack) and a little garlic, add some bread chunks and you're in business!
