I used to eat a lot of rice pudding when I lived in the city, but hadn't had it in years. I had a sudden craving and decided to make my own.



You may have guessed that I'm not exactly a health nut, but I do like making stuff like this at home, because I know exactly what's in it and there are no weird, unpronounceable ingredients. It was really easy and only required a few ingredients, including rice (duh), milk, sugar, raisins and some spices. It bakes for three hours, so it's not a last-minute dessert idea, but it IS yummy and worth the wait!
