We made enough food to feed an army for our party, but I neglected to photograph any of it, so here's a gratuitous shot of the fabulous Santa cake that Chris and Stephanie brought!

For this party I made "Island Ham," which I named, since it had pineapple and rum glaze, Corn Pudding (thanks to Geoff for sharing his yummy recipe), Vegetarian Shepherd's Pie, "Tiki Yams," Green Bean Casserole, Pumpkin-Gingerbread Trifle (for which I made gingerbread from scratch for the first time), French Apple Pie, meatballs, vegetarian balls, a cheese ball, and stuff I don't even remember anymore. Paul made Deviled Eggs, which we forgot to put out, but enjoyed with the guests who were still here the next day, and Zach helped me immensely by taking over the Tropical Rice I started when I feared we might run out of food (we didn't, thankfully). Most of it went, though, which was gratifying. I love cooking for appreciative people!
