
I found this recipe online and was immediately smitten! I give you Cadbury Creme Egg Cupcakes!

The recipe instructs you to use your favorite cupcake recipe for the actual cake, so I used the recipe for devil's food cake from our 1964 McCall's Cookbook (you could also use a box mix, if that's how you roll). You add a mini creme egg, which has been frozen, to the batter, bake, then use your favorite frosting after they've cooled (I used the buttercream frosting from the website with the recipe), part of which you've dyed yellow, and add another mini creme egg on top. Easy and spectacular!
