It feels like it's been a while since we actually had happy hour in the Velvetiki Room, but we made up for lost time on Friday night, with a buffet of appetizers featuring peppers from our garden!



We have two pepper plants this year: jalapenos and cayenne peppers, which we've never grown before. They take a long time to come in, but we now have a small tree full of big, tasty peppers, one of which is featured in these dipping puffs. I'm very pleased with them, which is good, because we have a bunch left!
