This time I present the star of our next "Velveteen Lounge Kitsch-en" episode, Macaroni Salad, featuring the magic of Jell-O!



By now you may have guessed that I'm utterly fascinated with Jell-O and the fact that it used to be considered a lot more than dessert. Salad, for example. This recipe is my own, but is inspired by hundreds of Jell-O "salad" recipes from the past, when any food was considered fair game for use in Jell-O. I haven't crossed the final frontier and added tuna or another canned meat to Jell-O. Yet. Stay tuned!
