You can't tell from this photo, but you're looking at one of the many creative leftovers from our Easter dinner, deviled ham:

We ended up with an eleven-and-a-half pound ham for the two of us (it was "free," since we'd spent enough at Shop Rite over the previous month to qualify), which means we're going to be eating ham forever. Monday night I was too wiped out to even make a ham sandwich, so Paul took over and decided to get creative and make his own deviled ham. It was really amazing! Beyond its appearance, which was remarkably similar, it bore little resemblance to the stuff you get from the can. It was super hot and tangy and all the more delicious because I didn't have to do any work. Sometimes you just have to plant yourself on the couch and let someone else take over.
