It was all about DIY in the Velveteen Lounge Kitsch-en this week!



The Spakakopita Dip was super yummy AND easy, as it involved no cooking, and the pita chips were also really simple--cut up the pita bread, throw it in the oven and voila! Homemade pita chips! The cocktail sauce for the shrimp was also homemade and took about three minutes: tomato paste, horseradish, garlic, oil, vinegar, salt and pepper were all it took. That's it! By Friday night I'm usually ready to collapse, so I love it when delicious food is also really easy!
