Speaking of pies, here is the first pumpkin pie of the season, with a secret ingredient!



I've made this one twice so far (once for practice and once for company) and it's super easy--even easier than a regular pumpkin pie, which is already pretty darned easy--thanks to a secret ingredient that I'm not going to reveal until after Thanksgiving, lest I frighten our guests. The taste is identical to a traditionally-made pumpkin pie and this one is healthier. I'm very excited about my new pie discovery!
