I made a really yummy and impressive looking chicken dish from the Hawaii Kai Cookbook during the week, but naturally I neglected to take any pictures of it. Therefore, I give you my heart-shaped banana bread:



Having a heart-shaped banana bread was pretty much an unplanned thing. We had an aging banana to use up and I couldn't find any of our loaf pans (I just now realized where they probably are), so the prosaic banana bread became fun food. I love it when stuff like that happens. Why shouldn't we make everyday things fun, including our food? Life's too short to not play with your food!
