I found the idea for this easy and yummy appetizer on a web forum I frequent. It features everyone's secret meat obsession, bacon!



We happen to have a bumper crop of jalapeno peppers, so this was economical, as well as easy and fun. All you do is slice a jalapeno pepper in half, remove the seeds and stuff inside, fill with cream cheese, top with salt and pepper and wrap in bacon, securing with a toothpick. Pop them in the oven for 20 minutes at 400 degrees, then allow them to sit and firm up for a few minutes when removed from the oven. Nothing to it!
