I cooked a lot this week, culminating in my preparing sweet-and-sour chicken for five people for happy hour on Friday night, but I was happy enough to take the weekend off and let other people do the cooking for me!

Paul cooked breakfast at our friend Matt's house on Sunday and Saturday we ate, among other yummy dishes, this pig, at our friend John's luau. It was smoky and delicious--so much so that, apparently, they don't use any spices when they cook it--all the flavor comes from the smoking process. We also had an incredibly inexpensive and yummy lunch at Shanghai Village, in Bethesda, Maryland. It was all excellent--thanks for the great meals, everyone!
