Sometimes, when it feels like half the folks you know have hopped an express bus to Crazy Town, it's nice to get a present. At the risk of sounding materialistic, presents can be concrete evidence that people like you and want you to be happy. I love both getting and GIVING presents. I love the reaction when someone appreciates the effort you made on their behalf and I love the idea that someone thought of me. Above are a couple of recent presents I've received and they mean a lot to me.
