Let's face it. Recent world events have shown us that life isn't getting any longer and we had better celebrate while we can. To that end, Kelly's Velveteen Lounge has decided that we're going to find something to celebrate each week, even if it kills us. This week we're celebrating
The past week started off, as Stacy London might have said, "sucktastic," but by the end of the week I was seeing glimmers of hope, so let's celebrate that! We got a new episode of "Velveteen Lounge Kitsch-en" online, I completed some writing, we found a great kitschy restaurant not too far from home and I'm feeling a bit more like myself again. I've been reading a lot about the creative process and that sort of thing and realizing that life gives us much more ebb and flow than we can usually tolerate. Well, I'm trying to tolerate it. As a wise person of my acquaintance says, "Every time you take a breath is a new beginning." Amen!
